Yes, Camping du Chêne Vert is ideally situated for exploring the Tarn: it’s right in the heart of the region, making it an excellent base from which to discover the area.
Just 15 km from the campsite is Gaillac, famous for its historic vineyards and wine cellars. 30 km away is Albi, home to its Episcopal City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But that’s not all: close to the campsite you’ll also find Cordes-sur-Ciel, Penne, Puycelsi and Lisle-sur-Tarn, all of which are magnificent medieval villages. Thanks to its location, you can also visit other departments, notably Saint-Antonin-de-Noble-Val in the Tarn-et-Garonne and Toulouse in the Haute-Garonne.

The best time to visit depends on what you’re looking for. In May and June, you can fully enjoy the blossoming countryside, lush green landscapes and mild temperatures – perfect for hiking in the Gresigne Forest and the hills of the Tarn. There are fewer tourists compared to the summer, so you can enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere in tourist spots such as Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi…
In July and August, you can enjoy the entertainment and evening events organised by the campsite; the days are warmer, which is perfect for swimming in the campsite’s pool as well as in the nearby rivers and lakes. +Does the Chêne Vert campsite have a swimming pool area?
Yes, the outdoor pool is heated to around 26°C depending on the weather and has a paddling pool for younger children. There is also a water slide for children and teenagers. It is open every day from 10am to 8pm, except on Saturday mornings when it is closed for maintenance.
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard: parents or carers must remain vigilant at all times

Yes, our family-friendly campsite offers a safe and welcoming environment with entertainment, play areas and activities suitable for all ages. Depending on the season, we offer fun and sporting activities for young and old alike, nature workshops and water games around the pool.
+Are pets allowed on the campsite?
Yes, your four-legged friends are welcome, except in premium accommodation. A small supplement applies per night.
Pets must be kept on a lead within the campsite grounds, and their vaccination records must be up to date. For everyone’s comfort, they must not be left alone in the accommodation.

The campsite offers a wide range of facilities for the whole family: fun and sporting activities, a multi-sports pitch, a pétanque court, a children’s play area, a games room and summer entertainment. The campsite also features a dining area, bar, snack bar, ice cream parlour, bread and pastry shop, and a grocery store selling local produce. There is a large heated swimming pool with slides and a paddling pool. Free Wi-Fi, car park and launderette are available. The campsite also welcomes groups and offers a bed linen hire service, as well as baby kits and air conditioning units.

We also have a shower block for people with reduced mobility.

A function room is also available to hire for wedding receptions on the campsite.
Only 1 animal allowed per pitch, except cats.
Pets are not allowed in our premium mobile homes.
